What could your community do
with a little direction?

You know the talent in your community. Give them a place to practice, get useful feedback, and take the next step with support.

Our workshops connect what participants know to what they want next: a video they're proud to share, a client conversation, or a speaking opportunity.

The consultant

with years of experience who struggles to explain her offer.

The founder

who records 12 takes and posts none of them.

The expert

who has a talk in them but hasn't pitched it yet.

Find the workshop that meets them where they are

Book a standalone session or bring your community through the series, in person or virtual. We'll help you choose based on what your audience needs and what they're ready to do.

Each one stands alone. Together, they build from camera confidence to content strategy, client outreach, and speaking.

Confidence on Camera

Know what to say. Feel ready to hit record.

The camera comes on, and suddenly a topic you could explain over lunch feels impossible to talk about. We help participants find their point, write a short script, and practice delivering it in their own voice. Then we coach them through a recorded take, with clear guidance on pace, eye line, and what to do with those hands.

Best for: Founders, professionals, authors, and experts who know their material but hesitate on camera.

They leave with: A finished script, a recorded take, and a clearer sense of how to do it again.

The 5 Videos That Close Deals

Create a video library that supports your next sale.

"What should I film?" gets easier to answer when every video has a job. Participants learn the 5 videos that help potential clients understand their work, see their expertise, and take the next step. We map where those videos belong across their website, email, proposals, and social channels, then help them put an existing video to work somewhere new.

Best for: Consultants, coaches, and service providers who want their content to support how they sell.

They leave with: A 5-video plan, a placement map, and a simple way to get more use from what they create.

Content to Client: From Post to Paid

How to use your content to start conversations that lead to clients.

That video you posted could also help you reconnect with a past client, follow up after a discovery call, or give a referral partner something useful to share. We help participants identify people they already know, choose the right content to send, and write messages that feel natural. They send 1 during the workshop, so the first step happens while we're together.

Best for: Business owners who already have content and want to use it more intentionally in outreach and follow-up.

They leave with: A list of 10 warm contacts, 3 drafted messages, 1 message sent, and a weekly follow-up rhythm.

Get Booked to Speak

Package your expertise for your next speaking opportunity.

You have something to teach. Let's make it easier for an organizer to see where you fit. Participants shape their expertise into talk ideas with clear audience takeaways, write a pitch email, and record a short speaker introduction. We help them explain what they bring to the stage and why it matters to the people attending.

Best for: Experts, authors, consultants, and coaches ready to pursue conferences, panels, workshops, and corporate speaking opportunities.

They leave with: 3 talk titles, a pitch email ready to send, and a recorded 30-second speaker intro.

What participants gain

Yes, they'll do the work in the session.

There's space to ask the question, try the first take, and make an adjustment. Participants just need to come willing. We'll coach them through the rest.

At least half of every workshop goes to participants writing, practicing, recording, or applying what they learn, whether we're in the same room or on the same video call.

A few places we've presented

Black Women in Data Summit

From Data to Story: Making Your Technical Expertise Impossible to Ignore

Kristen walked a room of data professionals through the SCALE System, the roadmap from invisible expert to paid thought leader. They practiced explaining a project in business impact language, put a number on the time and money their work saves, and left with AI prompts and a workbook for speaking to their audience in language that lands.

Small Business Expo

Getting found when your next client asks AI

Our GEO workshop covered the three things that decide whether AI tools recommend a business: be specific, answering the questions customers actually ask in their words; be referenced, with credible mentions on platforms you don't control; and be consistent, so your site, LinkedIn, and videos all sound like the same person. Attendees ran a 60-second self-check on the one question clients ask most, then left with a cheat sheet for the week.

In their words

Let the participants tell you

Client result

She posted one video VTB produced, got 201 reactions and an invitation to lead an international workshop on that same topic.

Dr. Kedibone Letlaka-Rennert's psychological safety video drew 201 reactions, compared with 12 to 31 on her other videos, and led an international organization to invite her to lead a workshop.

Dr. Kedi's LinkedIn videos tab: the VTB-created psychological safety video shows 201 reactions and 13 comments, while her other videos show 12 to 31 reactions

Meet your workshop facilitators

Kristen Noelle, brand strategist and creative director

Kristen Noelle

Brand strategist and creative director

Kristen has spent 15 years in marketing figuring out what makes people say yes, and she brings all of it into the room. She's the co-founder of Venture to Bloom and the founder of KN Digital Marketing, and the person you want next to you when you know your work cold but can't find the words for it. Her favorite part of a workshop is the moment someone goes from "I don't know how to explain what I do" to saying it on camera in one clean sentence. She'll hype you up and tell you the truth in the same breath. A University of Maryland Smith School of Business alum, she's based in the DC area.

Freddie Butler III, production lead and on-camera coach

Freddie Butler III

Production lead and on-camera coach

Freddie brings 16 years in sales and coaching to the room, and it shows in how he prepares. Before a workshop he has already studied your audience, run the shot list, tested the lights, and thought through what each person will need to hear to relax in front of a camera. On the day, he's the one who notices the nervous first take, reads what's behind it, and gets a better one out of a participant without ever making them feel rushed. He cares, plainly and visibly, about every person who shows up, and he holds the room to a high bar because he believes people rise to it. Expect practical direction, honest feedback, and someone fully in your corner when it's time to hit record.

Together, we combine strategy and production so participants can work through an idea and bring it to life in the same session.

What we believe

The same convictions behind every Venture to Bloom content day shape every workshop we teach.

Video isn't optional anymore

People hire people they feel like they know. Video builds that trust faster than anything else, which is why every workshop gets your members in front of a camera.

Consistency beats perfection

A finished take they can post this week beats a perfect one they never record. We coach for progress, not polish.

Your content should work as hard as you do

Pretty content that doesn't convert is just expensive decoration. Every exercise ties back to a client conversation, a booking, or a sale.

Community over competition

When one of us wins, we all win. A room full of people cheering each other on is where the best takes happen, and we build that energy on purpose.

You don't need to be a different person on camera

The version of your members that closes deals in a meeting is exactly the version their audience needs to see. We help them bring that person to the lens.

Your story deserves to pay you

Expertise, experience, perspective: they have value. We teach participants to package theirs so the right people find them and trust them enough to pay.

You bring the people. We'll bring the lights, the coaching, and the good energy.

Bring a VTB workshop to your community

Tell us who you're bringing together and what you want them to leave able to do. We'll recommend the session that fits and talk through the details with you.

A few things you might be wondering

Do you offer in-person and virtual workshops?

Yes. We deliver workshops in person across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, including at our studio space in Lanham, and virtually for groups anywhere. Virtual participants record on their own phone or laptop while we coach each take live.

How long are the workshops?

Our signature workshops run for 2 hours, with time for instruction, practice, and coaching. Confidence on Camera also has a 45-minute format for shorter event slots.

How many people can attend?

Groups of up to 20 get the most one-on-one coaching on camera (we'll bring 2 facilitators and 2 videographers). For larger groups, we run a presentation format with timed practice so select participants still get hands-on time.

What do you bring, and what do we provide?

In person, we bring the camera, tripod, lights, audio, printed worksheets, and media releases. You provide the room, access to power outlets, and a screen if your group is larger than 7. Virtual groups get digital worksheets and a video call link.

Can we book just one?

Absolutely. Each workshop stands on its own. We can also help you plan a series that builds from camera confidence to content strategy, client outreach, and speaking.

Do participants need existing videos?

Confidence on Camera is a good starting point for participants creating their first video. Content to Client works best for participants who already have content to use. We'll help you choose the right session for your group.

Can you tailor the session to our audience?

Yes. We'll talk through your audience's experience, goals, and common sticking points so the examples and exercises feel relevant to their work.

What does it cost to bring you in?

Share your audience, preferred workshop, format, location, and timing. We'll send a recommendation and investment based on the session and scope.
